And when you're crying voiceless.
I'll position myself beside you and your broken wings,

Needed the thorns, to hold up the halo.

Your hair is a flowing river of silver,
Shining in the moonlight,
Your thin lips curl up in a small smile,
Revealing tiny white fangs,
As your faeries dance under the stars,
Their bodies twisting, twirling, curling and unfurling
In the yellow fire light,
Do they mystify you as you mystify them?
I can see you are fascinated as you watch them,
Their little feet pound the ground with delicate little beats,
Gentle as summer rain.
You turn your gaze and look at me,
Your eyes drill into mine, you look right through me,
You take my hand, you want me to dance, dance like them.
I have no choice.
We waltz and waltz in the hidden forest,
They watch us as we spin around; their faces all become a blur,
Your spicy scent overwhelms me, I bathe in it,
I can taste it on my tongue, it is much too bitter,
I can feel your fingers touch mine; they burn my skin, hot like acid.
I can feel it rising as you spin me faster and faster,
I want to stop, to run, run away, Deciever in the Darkness.As I looked beyond the window
From my old study's chair
Sheltered warmly beside the fire
From winter's frosty air
Passed the snow, I caught your visage
A blackened gloomy hue
Though in moonlight you were drowning
No light shined upon you.
You were something bred from blackness
I felt a chill pierce the air
From your shadow shone two bright eyes
A burning silver glare
Those entrancing gems took my mind
It showed me all my cares
All deep lusts hidden within me
Awakened from that stare.
Then my mind slipped into craze
A magic, mystic daze
Rid of yearning and malaise
All lost deep inside your stare.
You said, "Come, open the window
I will give you the freedom to be
All that you desire
A life of eternal harmony
What I offer has a small price
Love, milady, will suffice
Let me fill your soul with fire
Which will burn away your sorrow
And never will you've had
Such a happier tomorrow

Unleash the beast deep within
And Legends of Calvernia: Dragons   Perched on a ledge in the mountains, the beast looked down through the clouds at the land below. The dragon’s talons cut deep grooves into the rock, scales of amethyst shining in the sun. It was a dumb beast, controlled by instinct, thoughts only for its primitive needs. All it felt was the heat in its blood and the hunger in its belly.
   It heaved itself into the sky, catching the air in its wings and propelling into flight. Slowly dropping down through the clouds, its eager eyes scanned the ground in search of a feast. The sound of its beating wings must have scared all the animals away, as the land seemed void of all life. No, wait. There was movement. A scrawny looking thing that walked on two legs, but a meal was a meal.
   A loud roar rolled from its mouth as  it swooped down, plucking the creature from the ground as easily as a child pick up a toy. The human struggled uselessly against the might of the dragon’s:thumb150833761: Last Dawn Chapter one

Chapter 1- Where One Stands
How did it come to this anyway?
Basir spun between a pair of blades coming at him from either side; he was flanked and needed to get to a better position quickly.  The cool-faced man dipped low and snapped a palm at the hand of one of his attackers, sending his swipe wide, and before he could recover, Basir was already diving for cover.  Kicking the table upwards as he rolled to his feet, the heavy wood caught the blades as they came down.  The table slammed back to the floor, tearing the weapon from the hand of one of his attackers, while the other wasn't quite so deft, and his grip still tight on the hilt.  The poor fool was pulled across the table and into the metal cap of Basir's sheathed uchigatana.

I can feel the wind beneath my wings.  The wings of a fallen angel.

  Anii looked down from his perch on top of the castle walls.  His heart physically hurt and throbeed beneath his tattered tunic, but it always did.  His right eye was covered by his long-ish white hair, which hung in spikes jsut short of his shoulder.  His face was young, which was fitting.  He was no older than 16 years old.  He gave a soft, soundless cry as he threw his head back and whined to the sky.  Clouds swirled about him, and he could feel the wind tugging at his wing, like a child begging him to play with it again.  He swung at the wind, but quickly fell motionless.  He had Fallen not long ago, and there was not much energy available to him.
